30 Years in Business
September 26th, 2024
Racey Engineering has been in business for 30 years! Pat and Chris Racey began this business venture in 1994, where the all operations were done out of their basement. Pat took on jobs here in the Shenandoah Valley and Chris maintained all of the book and administrative work, all while raising their two sons. In 2002, they decided to make Racey Engineering official and moved their operations to Main Street in Luray. Their business continued to grow into the Racey Engineering that we know and love today. Thank you Pat and Chris for all you do to make this business and the community thrive!

Posted in: Employee SpotlightEmma Wilson - Class of 2024 Intern Spotlight
June 7th, 2024
As both of our local High School Graduations grow near, we want to congratulate the class of 2024 and all of their accomplishments.
Today, we would like to recognize a graduate of the 2024 class that is special to us, Emma Wilson. Emma interned with us for the 2023-2024 school year through a Page County Public Schools (PCPS) program. During the internship, she was able to learn a little bit about each engineering discipline and get insight into what a typical day as an engineer would look like. Emma now plans to go to a four-year school to continue her education. We certainly enjoyed getting to work with her this year. We wish Emma and all 2024 graduates the best of luck on their new journey!Posted in: Employee Spotlight2024 Leadership Retreat

Our hearts have been heavy this past week as we have been missing our brother, friend, and co-worker. Dale has been gone now for 4 years. We miss him each and every day, but we certainly celebrate him this time of year. On Friday, as we do every year on or close to November 4th, we wore bibs (or T-shirts with bibs) to celebrate his life. We certainly miss him, but we are thankful for all the memories he has left us and all the hearts that he has touched.
