VDOT J45 - Lee County, VA - Project Spotlight

Project Spotlight:
VDOT J45 – with Orders ConstructionRacey Engineering is currently providing surveying services on these two bridges that are being replaced over Norfolk & Southern Railroad along Route 23 in Lee County. The construction for the two bridge replacements started in the Spring of 2023 and is still in progress.
This project is 330 miles from Racey Engineering's office in Luray, VA. It is also roughly 7 miles from the Kentucky border and 13 miles from the Tennessee border.

Last week, Racey Engineering had it's first ever Annual off-site Leadership meeting and retreat. The leadership team loaded up and headed to Anderson, SC to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. During this time, the Leadership team met to discuss company budgeting, planning, and goals for 2024. This team put in a lot of hard work to plan and prepare to make 2024 the best that it can be for its employees and clients.
The Leadership team was also able to have fun and bond over a few meals at local restaurants and a Clemson vs. Georgia Tech Basketball game.
