Mark Rickard - 11 Years of Service

Mark Rickard has been a reliable employee since 2011. Mark is currently one of our Field Crew Chiefs where he manages and downloads all field notes, sketches, plans, and raw field data and keeps our Field Crew Assistants on task. In his free time, he enjoys watching various spots (with his favorite team being UVA) and eating nachos. His world revolves around his little girl, who he spends all his free time with.

Luke Banach has been a dedicated employee since 2018. He started working here in his junior year of high school. He began scanning files in the office and has worked his way up into being a Field Crew Assistant. He now assists in both boundary and construction surveying projects and occasionally acts as Field Crew Chief. In his free time he enjoys singing in the church choir, playing sports, and coaching Little League soccer.

Over the past few months, our Survey Department has worked hard to complete 30 hours of OSHA training. This course taught them appreciation, prevention, avoidance and reduction of safety and health hazards in the workplace. We are proud to continue the safety education of our employees to bring our clients higher quality work. Congratulations to Dexter Bly, Eddie Smith, James "Manie" Whiteside, Jason Frye, Justus Proctor, Kevin Blankenship, Luke Banach, Mark Richard, Matt Mills, Michael Good, and Zach Wright.

Thomas Abrams has been an inspiring employee since 2015. Thomas is originally from South Carolina, where he graduated from Clemson University with his Engineering degree. He has been an important asset to Racey Engineering's Structural department for the length of his service. On his free-time, he enjoys skiing, watching Clemson sports, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Sherri Haley has been a loyal and dedicated employee since 2016. Sherri started here as our Front Desk Receptionist and has recently been promoted to our Accounts Receivable Representative. She typically handles sending out bills and statements and collecting payments from our clients. On her free time she enjoys participating in the Luray Downtown Initiative (LDI), playing with her cats, and exploring the city life.
